Props - Why we need them:

Props are items placed around the areas where the quilts are displayed. They enhance the attendee experience. Please consider loaning items to use as props to give the quilt show a welcoming and homey feeling.

What we are looking for:  

  • A small rocking chair,

  • buggy,

  • wagon,

  • a children’s chair,

  • doll bed,

  • an oval quilting stand,

  • picnic baskets,

  • potted plants - real or fake - are great

What not to lend us:  

Please no tiny items that can “walk off” or items that are too big, like an adult’s rocking chair. Remember that you will have to transport it to the show and home again.

How to let me know what you will lend us:

I will be sending around a sign up sheet at the June and August guild meetings for you to sign up and let me know what items you are lending us. If you will not be at either meeting you can email or call me to let me know what you would like to lend.

When and where to bring them:

Props are to be brought to the show venue at the same time as you are dropping off your quilts. After the show you will pick up your props at the same time you pick up your quilts.  Further instructions will be sent to those who lend prop items.
