Make the blades the same size, make them all different, leave spaces. This creates countless variations! Giucy Giuce will share his tips and tricks for best practices when foundation paper piecing and sewing curves.

This is a technique class.  You will be making several different fabric origami flower blossoms. I will provide you with patterns and directions for 9 different flowers (Daffodil, Wild Begonia, Columbine, Dogtooth Violet, Dogwood, Snowdrop, Fountain Plant, Orchid, & Corn Flower). You will then be able to design your own wall hanging, quilt, table runner, table mat, mug rug, etc.  This is your chance to play and design something original.

Patterns come from Kumiko Sudo’s books “Fantasies & Flowers” (1999) and “Fabled Flowers” (1996).  Both books are out of print, however you may find them on eBay or Amazon if you want copies.
